I was really impressed with this. So on her legs she’s got tall boots that have theEND’s leg design on them, one arm has theEND’s arm design, the other arm has the nose of Dewey’s ship, and the backing with the wings is the rest of Dewey’s ship.

Freedom is something you have to fight for, rather than something you’re given. Being free means beeing prepared to carry that burden.

Okay I’m like legitimately getting rustled at people, even fans bashing AO for all the wrong reasons.
Ao was a really good sequel. In terms of story GREAT;however the the character department, and when I mean character I mean Truth and Naru, made is fall a little short.
There is no doubt that the original is better, but AO is just as good. Half of this fanbase is turning to shit, or they truly DO NOT understand the concept of this series.
The original Eureka Seven series was about a military kid born into a political and intergalactic war between The new human race on the plsam planet and the alien race called the Scub Coral. Falling in love with what the Scubs use to communicate with the humans to save them from destroying their new planet home, the story of Eureka Seven tackles situations such as: Family, political, love, growing up, purpose, and even parenthood. The series shows that in order to reach your happy ending you need to sacrifice things that are most important to you even if it morally wrong.
Ao picks up right on that. It the story about the struggle of the son of the Renton and Eureka tackling: Parenthood, racism, major political issues, and purpose. It shows that happy endings aren’t always promised. Instead of understanding this people are all like ” ehhhhh where’s gekko state? ????” Like what? That would have been nice, but what exact role are the members of gekko state serving to the sequel? To Ao for that matter. Nothing. Eureka covered all that in episode 13 of the sequel. Don’t bash the show because your favorite character from the original series didn’t show up in a sequel that would have rendered them unnecessary.
In short, Ao is a true spiritual successor to the original, but some of the direction they take the characters is…. stupid.
P.s. Don’t bitch at Bones for using a little fan service. Y’all wasn’t complaining when Talho was running around half naked for 35 episodes.
